Check

About

CabinFit is built and maintained by Mehmet Hamza Özer

CabinFit is an independent, one-person project: a dimensional checker that compares your packed bag with the personal item and carry-on limits airlines actually publish, with the source link and last-checked date always visible.

01

Who runs CabinFit

Mehmet Hamza Özer builds the site, enters every airline baggage rule by hand, and re-checks the stored rules on a rolling schedule. An automated helper re-reads each carrier's official baggage page to confirm the stored dimensions still appear there and to catch broken links; a confirmed match can refresh the "last checked" date, but no change to the data goes live without human review. There is no content farm behind the data.
02

Why the site exists

Gate-fee surprises are the most avoidable bad moment in budget travel. Airlines publish their limits, but in inconsistent units, orders, and fare-bundle fine print. CabinFit normalizes those published limits and checks your packed bag against them in every orientation, so you can decide before the airport, not at the gate.
03

How the data stays honest

Every rule stores its official source URL, source type, confidence level, and last-checked date. Pages whose data ages past the freshness window are removed from search indexing rather than left to go quietly stale - the full process is documented on the Methodology page.
04

What CabinFit is not

CabinFit is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any airline, and a fit result is not a guarantee of acceptance. Final decisions always belong to airline staff and depend on your ticket, route, aircraft, and weight. Airline names and logos are used for identification only.
